A lot of you long term readers know that I have a long-standing love/hate relationship with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. To work in a specific computer lab on campus, we have to be familiar with both, and have occasional trainings on them. This is what our Photoshop training was supposed to turn out like:
The tutorial was supposed to be for beginners, and we were supposed to create this from scratch. Well, needless to say, it was much harder than a beginner project, and I ended up frustrated part way through. Our manager gave us permission to only create the head, and this is what I came up with:
I was pretty frustrated, so I changed his hair color (and he does have ears, they're just hiding behind his hair)
and didn't do much else than give him a shirt and shorts. And the name Bob. Hehehe

Melissa, thanks so much for commenting on my design blog. You are great. Also, I'm super impressed with the illustration of Bob! Like, seriously impressed! I really want to learn how to do that, but am always busy at the staff meetings helping with the training that I never get to go to the UR anymore. I think you did great!
