The Mt got 5 fresh inches of powder today, which has me totally excited to hit the beav tomorrow morning. We're gonna pack the 4runner for a half day of awesomeness in the upper parking lot. :)
We'll board, have some beverages, and cook some dogs. I'm so excited!!!
Oh, Friday was freaking awesome. Our class was just me, Louise (A girl from Denmark, totally awesome btw), our instructor hippy Nate, and Don the sidekick-instructor. The 3 guys that are normally in our class must have chickened out because of the 3 days of rain here in town. The beav had about an inch to two most everywhere and up to six in the trees and sneaky spots. It was awesome, and I haven't been this sore from boarding at all this season, which makes me happy. We rode all sorts of insane terrain, and my board got it's first rock bites, which actually are very superficial scratches. Yay for not too much damage being done, especially considering how many rocks I rode over... hahaha. It's a lot of fun being in the advanced class, and will enjoy learning stuff from Nate.
Yay snow!!!
