I'm pretty sure that during my next German class, I need to keep an eye out for Harry Potter. Because Prof. McGonagill will be teaching.
Things you may not have known about Prof. McGonagill:
She is German. Is from Heidelberg. Studied for a few years in Canada. Switches between German and English faster than most people can follow (except my mom, she could totally follow that shit. My mom's awesome). She hasn't assigned us any textbooks* to buy, saying that she'll give us everything as a handout.
Best thing about her? She makes Harry Potter jokes. :)
I am actually excited for German this semester. My university has been slacking in years past**, but this year -this year will be better.

**When trying to scale things back, they had to let go the 2nd best German instructor. Keeping the old tenured lady. The old mentally unstable lady. The one who went crazier than a coconut, and f*ed the university in the A. Thank you crazy bitch. But hey, in return, we got the head of Gryffindor house. :)

Does this mean the department will be offering more German classes again? It seems that every class Sam has it either conflicts with another German class or it's been cancelled. Ughhhh! How is she ever going to graduate if they don't offer the classes!
